Since April 2026, E20 — petrol blended with 20% ethanol — has been the default at nearly every pump in India, with no labelled alternative beside it and no clear label at the nozzle. This charter asks for six specific things: the right to buy E0 or E10, truth at the pump, fair pricing, a public compatibility list, protection for older vehicles, and independent testing published in full.
